Who controls the information

What we collect
Your saved route, places, dates, times, preferences and plan text are stored to create and deliver your guide. Do not enter a home address or information about another person that you do not need. We do not ask for your companion’s name, religion, appearance or contact details. To protect a guide, the browser holds a private recovery key and the server stores a one-way hash of it.
Shopify processes payment information under its own privacy notice. Side A receives the order and line identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, consent record and checkout reference needed to deliver the purchase, prevent fraud, handle refunds and answer support requests. Card details and the buyer’s payment credentials are not copied into the guide database. The hosting provider may process request and security logs.
Why we use it
We use guide content to provide the service, payment and consent records to perform and document the purchase, and security data to prevent abuse and investigate disputes. We do not sell guide content, use it for advertising profiles, or add marketing pixels to Side A.
Retention
Unpaid draft content is available for 7 days. After a confirmed purchase, guide content is available online for 30 days. Access ends at the deadline and expired personal content is scrubbed during the next cleanup run; you can delete it sooner from the planner. Downloaded files remain on devices where you save them.
Order, refund, consent and payment-correlation records are retained for up to 7 years where needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal obligations. Hashed recovery keys connected to those records may be retained for the same period. Short-lived rate-limit records expire within about one hour. Hosting and payment providers may retain their own records under their policies and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can access or correct saved plan information through its private link, delete plan content in the planner, or contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and complaints. Some requests may be limited where retaining a record is necessary for payment, fraud prevention, legal compliance or a dispute. We will identify the applicable process and any authority or transfer rules that apply to your location.
External services
Opening Google Maps, Shopify or other external links sends information to those services. Their own notices apply. Side A uses necessary browser storage and an owner sign-in cookie; it does not run advertising or marketing analytics.
